… a guilty pleaseure of mine. i.e. adam sandler films. i’ve had this one on dvd for a few years and used to have this song on my playlist at work and dream that my boyfriend would one day develop skills in the soppy-romantic-songwriting section and write songs like this one for me and only me.
have been singing this today as the lines “give you my coat when you are cold” popped into my head when i was on my way to work this morning. there is a promise of summer in the air, but still it’s a bit chilly. skirts allowed but bring a jacket.
